Happy New Year 2010! We would like to give you a short update on the progress of our work on SEO review & rating engine. The new release date is now set to September 2010. Scope Creep has been the main reason for moving the release date into 2010 as earlier defined core functions have been extended with new once that was planned for second generation of RRE. We still have work to do when it comes to help functions, testing and user friendliness where we are planning for customer clinics. You can expect more information shortly before the release in September.

We have finished most of the work on the review rankings and focus has shifted to intensive tests. The review system is now extended to support verification of reviewers and marking reviews with such information with a special trust mark. We have also decided to extend the popularity rankings in our SERPs to ensure that this SEO R&R Engine will be received as a World Class Service.

Time vs Quality

This will unfortunately delay the launch of seo.net core services, but we will not compromise quality to keep our deadlines.

SEO is all about the Internet (the Net) so there is probably no better domain name then seo.net to serve the customers of Search Engine Optimization Industry and the SEO Industry itself. We will not let this service become just another blog or forum about search engines and their optimisation.

The launch process contains three main steps:

Prelaunch - launch of basic community services (started) with premium membership offered for free.

Final launch – launch of review & rating engine (beta) and integrated community services. (No official date announced)

Commercial launch – Start of  the marketing campaign.

As the first step we are launching SEO Community.  Seo.net community's main strength is the easy way that members with similar hobbies, professional interests and sports are connected to each other. New users are registering as SEO professionals or SEO customers/users.
